But a study permit was never a guarantee of PR or a work permit.

Meanwhile, four international students pool money to pay $400 each for a $1,600 two-bedroom. Landlords raise the rent.
A Canadian couple with a newborn can’t compete. They either stretch their budget, move to a worse area, cut groceries, or sink into debt.

No one organized a protest for them.
No consultants sold them a dream.
Temporary students were never meant to outbid Canadian families for housing.

This isn’t sustainable. And it’s not fair.
