@CoachBeede Go JUCO! Unbelievable baseball talent and less expensive by a mile! Still have to beat out a bunch of dudes for playing time but watched guys who were drafted or went to big D1’s. Son’s JUCO team would have beat a bunch of D1’s as they were that good in TX.

@CoachBeede What many don’t realize is that D1 scholarships used to be manipulated annually by the coach. It could go your way or it could go against you. Boys have been done for a while now so not sure w/ new rules but academic scholarships are solid for 4 years.

@AaronLikens I feel the exact same thing. Memories flood back to my first time there with my dad in the 70’s. Foyt, Johncock, Sneva, the Unser’s, Andretti, Mears etc. Even though the drivers have changed, this marvelous place makes you “feel the history” every time.
