WOW. i don’t think most people will register how immense the unlocked value of a public/on-chain social graph is, particularly in today’s data and AI-driven“Age of Information”
Imagine facebook’s social graph made public + on-chain capabilities = whole new dataset for AI apps
We’ve spent 20 years building walled gardens, forcing users to recreate their social graph in every new app.
@usetapestry is the internet’s social graph: an invisible protocol that just makes your relationships work everywhere.
when i quit $pton to jump into web3 back in 21, the idealist in me was disappointed to see that we were building products for native crypto users; while i was in love with the technology that had(s!) financial potential for any person in the world
it’s evolving 🥲
It took 1.5 years to get to 100,000 original mints and 4 months to get to 200,000!
users have minted 15,000 times since Monday
NFTs are not dead but they are evolving :)

definitely the easiest way I’ve ever minted an nft; and it’s mine. Straight from my phone s/o @primitives_xyz - this is genuinely dope.

Been hacking around with @remix_run and from a devex perspective: this is incredible. You get a full stack composable react application out of the box with all the good react stuff done for you. Makes development pretty “boring” in the best way
Let's go beyond Hello World on Solana.
In this project, we're gonna build a mini social network and cover concepts like:
🔒 Security
🤓 PDAs
💻 Client-side interaction

@santoretech Original idea came from thinking about viral content. I thought “would be cool if we can attribute those that contribute to making something popular.” So early fans/supporters own a piece of the viral content. Let’s see if I can make something practical from that!
@santoretech Thank you, and great question! I’m iterating on it a bit and leaving use cases pretty open but the initial idea is that the creator of any content is an owner, but anyone that also interacts with it is in also a partial owner.
