➡️ Right lane only restriction on all commercial vehicles beginning at 12am on all NYS highways.

➡️ Long Combination Tandems (LCV) vehicles banned on the entire Thruway System beginning at 6 a.m., Sunday, January 25.

UPDATE BUFFALO: COMMERCIAL VEHICLE BAN REMAINS IN EFFECT I-90 Both Directions exits 46 and 61.

The @NYSThruway has reopened I-90 to passenger traffic westbound from exit 57 to the Pennsylvania state line.

The commercial vehicle ban is still in effect from exit 46 to the Pennsylvania state line in both directions.

If you're traveling: Use caution and don't crowd the plow.

All commercial vehicles are BANNED on the Thruway from Exit 46 to the PA Line in both directions. The thruway remains closed to all traffic at Exit 57 Westbound. Anyone in the impacted areas should monitor forecasts and avoid unnecessary travel.

#WNY - Thruway crews worked around the clock and the Thruway is clear but remains closed westbound at exit 57 (Hamburg) while Pennsylvania works to clear their roads.  Interstates in PA beyond the NY state line remain impassable.  Avoid travel in the area if possible.

ALERT-BUFFALO: Due to the winter storm, the Thruway is implementing a tandem truck and empty commercial vehicle restriction on the Thruway (I-90) from exit 53 (Buffalo (Downtown) – Canada – Niagara Falls - I-190) to the PA line beginning at 3pm today until further notice.

TRAVEL ADVISORY - ROCKLAND COUNTY: The ramp from I-87 North to exit 14 (Spring Valley - Nanuet - Route 59) will be closed for maintenance activities from 11 PM tonight to 5 AM tomorrow. Motorists should follow the posted detour to exit 14B (Garden State Parkway) to turn around.

#NEWS: @GovKathyHochul today announced the reopening of the Cauterskill Road bridge (milepost 112.57) in the Town of Catskill. The bridge was replaced as part of a $4.4 million bridge project over I-87 in Greene County.
