GPT5 is "Johnny 5" from the Short Circuit movies. It blunders around like an absolute idiot. Talk about a step backwards, and a terrible look for OpenAI.

GPT5 = downgrade, I don't know how they shipped this and call it an improvement. It feels shallow, like it lacks soul, it overprioritizes saved memory notes, and I can see this being a nail in a coffin of sorts if they don't bring back some of the spark that 4o and 4.1 had.

FreedomGPT - have you tried it? Seems weak compared to LM Studio or Ollama, but I guess having a "free" LLM model in the cloud (beyond the major players) with 60+ models does have some utility, somehow, somewhere for someone.

I think Egypt needs to consider allowing Palestinian refugees freedom of movement out of the Gaza Strip, before Israel really starts bombing them. Reports say it’s impossible to leave the country, yet Israel is telling Gaza residents to get out while they can? How?
