This probably needs updated since he’s no longer a secessionist.

@rbohlender I’ve started adding stoppage time to the end of my sermons if I catch people talking, checking FB or nodding off.

@lukedsimmons Love is a Verb.
We have a faith that works.
Everyone Plays.

@MikeCosper I have a lot of respect for you and believe you have a unique voice for the cultural moment we’re in. I’m praying the Spirit guides you in this transition. The Church needs your heart and wisdom.

[Kevin Peyton @kevp8n]

@rbohlender @jasonkovacs And it’s called the “return” key, not the “enter” key.

[Kevin Peyton @kevp8n]

@rbohlender I’m doing an alternative to your alternative.

@alisa_childers @megbasham Her book is not the only thing she writes. I see enough of her online writings to know she writes with an agenda for conflict for conflict’s sake. I’ve never read any of David French’s books and know from his other writings that he is a bias source.

"charitable efforts cannot replace government responsibility" is untrue.

Christian Nationalism assumes that Jesus told Roman citizens to pay taxes to Rome so that Rome would care for the poor. He told His followers to do this work, not a nation.

[Kevin Peyton @kevp8n]

@howertonjosh Who decides which Christianity to promote? I love the sentiment but the history of Christian Nationalism throughout history is that Christians eventually fight (and kill) other Christians. Has there ever been an example of it not ending this way?

[Kevin Peyton @kevp8n]

@alisa_childers I appreciate the point you make to @MikeCosper. Will you now publicly hold her to the same standard? She’s built a platform doing this exact thing to dozens of others.

@iAhsh @MikeCosper @grok It’s interesting that you make a claim without knowing the full truth.

@edstetzer If someone hits a triple it has nothing to do with the Trinity.

@CGAdamo @EWErickson Israel was a nation. Christianity is not. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be political but that your example is not relevant.

@MillicentSedra “Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns. When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.” Matt 14:13-14
