@autosport The one change in F1 2026 that everyone has forgotten about, or never even knew about, was the switch to "sustainable" fuel. Maybe refueling would bring more attention to this and its benefits. If the PU's are energy-starved then they should be refueled
@ATMorr55@TontoForest B/c with the current weather conditions (dry & windy) that little remote fire could turn into an out of control massive wildfire that destroys valuable timber and public recreation resources (campgrounds/trails) and fills the air with smoke. That's why you do something about it.
@PaulMcG1992 How is it possible that that video camera coverage is more thrilling to watch than the modern day TV coverage? The best they can do is visor-cam which is terrible to watch. F1 TV directors take note on this video!
@ChrisMedlandF1 This is just embarrassing...the merry-go-round of leadership shows the complete inability to execute on their vision. All the money and talent doesn't mean anything if you can get it to gel together into a high performance team. The person they really need is Zak Brown.
@ChrisMedlandF1 Better than I expected as a TV viewer. There's hope for the season and this generation of cars, not as bad as the hype. I'd like to see more drivers on the limit though and less clipping
@LiveFastSimp@autosport Well that makes a little more sense then just not wanting to embarrass themselves by blowing up on the first race. But the Japanese GP is next month...wonder how they will fare by then?
@JDanial16@autosport It seems to me like they need real-world on-track mileage since they missed so much in testing. Are we really to believe that the mighty Honda and the well-funded AMR team can make enough parts in time? That's pretty pathetic.
@karunchandhok@redbullindia Cool to see the 2012 RBR car in a 2026 VCARB livery too. The step-nose era cars were a bit weird but a fast/winning car always looks good!
@NobleF1 Maybe this is why Newey shouldn't be Team Principal? Honda needed to be in Barcelona to work out these bugs. They could have gone with just a show car just to get some mileage. I'm sure AMR will fix it at some point but they'll be so far behind, this season is already a write-off
@adamcooperF1@OscarPiastri A 50/50 hybrid power unit should be hybrid reenergizing. It'll add another strategic tool to fight in the race. As a fan, I'd rather see time lost in the pits refueling than time lost slowing on the straight to recharge. Let the teams figure out what is fastest around the track
@adamcooperF1@OscarPiastri Bring back in-race refueling. If the PUs are energy starved then give them more fuel. This would be a good way to promote the sustainable fuels being used. Let the teams figure out the balance between recharging the battery and refueling the ICE over a race distance.
@autosport I think I'll understand it just fine. It is one of the things I'm most excited for about this season...I want to know how the battery/ICE energy is used by different drivers in the race. I hope F1 and the teams find a way to share the performance data in the broadcast.
@Motorsport Wow, fascinating. Thanks for sharing this info. This explains a lot of the content I see pushed in the media...makes sense that high profile sportsman/celebrities like LH are curating their images. It still annoys me to see irrelevant non-motorsports stories pushed by Motorsport
@Motorsport Why is this being shared as "newsworthy" by a motorsport media group? This has nothing to do with motorsports or F1. If anyone wants to know Lewis's personal views on cultural events, his own social media has all that. You don't need to regurgitate it into a story
@adamcooperF1@Cadillac_F1@ValtteriBottas I would have rather seen the word Andretti on the car than TWG...that would get me more excited about this team. TWG is just a holding company, it doesn't really have an motorsport pedigree, does it? I still don't understand why Andretti got forced out of this teams deal
