The numbers behind the Isle of Man women’s game this season tell a story the local football community can no longer ignore.

Across the league campaign, 84 fixtures were pencilled in. Only 70 were actually played. 14 of them ended as walkovers, and the other 14 are yet to be played in an incomplete league, meaning 34% of league matches never took place, and 17% of them were walkovers!
