@CapitolBaseball I believe Butera mentioned how well Parker pitched right after being recalled from ROC, and the staff’s needing to help him get back there. Really wish they’d do that in ROC, though.

People can’t afford health insurance, inflation is through the roof, gas prices are soaring and immigrant children are locked in prison camps, but sure let’s do motorcycle flips on the lawn of the WH to celebrate an egotistical president‘s birthday.
@federalbaseball Can’t say it any better than you - if they think there’s something there, let him work on it in ROC. There’ll be holes in the pitching staff after the trade deadline, bring back up then.
@NationalsSource Tough to do your pregame routine then have to sit for 2 hours before getting ready again. Need to see something from the offense to give me hope for the rest of the weekend
@nashunals@federalbaseball Parker’s not viable as a long reliever or in immediate leverage spots, so there’s no viable role other than mop up for him. But given the offense, Nats haven’t had many mop up situations this season, which means there’s really no role for him.
@nashunals@federalbaseball They’re not great, I acknowledge that. Bring up Poulin as the other high leverage LH reliever (*shudders*). If they’re intent on keeping Parker in the bullpen, then make him the mop up guy, send Shultz down.
