@_BizBaz@ask_aubry This needs to be the new go-to artist pose, along with that one with Anne Hathaway where she's caught between a guy and a girl (from when she was Viola in Twelfth Night)
@Warlockdnd I have literally never tried to play a character with a serious or mysterious backstory. It's not that I always play joke characters, but I'm here to have fun and my characters represent that.
"Into the flour went warm liquid barm (the frothy yeast) straight from the brewhouse..."
omg is this where the English slang "barmy" comes from, meaning "crazy" or "foolish"?

I was actually able to spend several hours just drawing this evening. It felt amazing, and I managed to get the first half of this scene does. It's been on my mind all week so I'm glad some of it is out there.
Frances follows this up with "well damn, I'd love to study the water tables at your house" (because clearly something magical is happening) and Marrok replies "of course, what's mine is yours"
@Ghosty02772504 @bavarianbird75@LesleyHoenig@ask_aubry I am curious how old the nieces and nephews being listed here are. My niblings are 5 and 3, and my baby is 3 going on 4.
We visited the science museum today! The rotating exhibit this time was about light and ways to bend light. Turns out both of us are terrible at dodging laser beams, so 3yo is not going to be a cat burglar when she grows up probably
@LesleyHoenig@ask_aubry My sisters and our kids get together for events and all, but I've never heard of aunts calling just for their nibblings, outside of situations like this where the aunt has to step up for the sake of the kid. The aunt is completely in the right, though, not OP.
