Every child has the capacity to be a light in someone else's life, just as Welles was.
Today, and every day, we remember all those victims lost, support their families, and honor the acts of kindness and heroism that brought us back to the light. (5/5)
Today, on Patriot Day, we remember the lives lost 25 years ago on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary acts of selflessness, courage, and kindness that brought a glimmer of light in our Nation's darkest hour. (1/5)
help others when it matters most. Welles' bravery is why we are deeply honored to include his legacy into our Kind Camp curriculum. When we teach our campers about the Man in the Red Bandana, we want them to understand that courage and kindness go hand in hand. (4/5)
This is a great example of the ripple effect that acts of kindness have - you never know how your actions might impact or inspire someone else!
As you go about your day today, remember the example that Sofia set and go out of your way to be kind!
