Labour froze some arms sales to Israel the day before it was due back in court to face lawyers from the Palestinian rights group Al-Haq, who were presenting mounting evidence that weapon exports were illegal.
It's amazing what people get offended by, Nadhim Zahawi is offended by a homeless person outside his Mayfair mansion.
Normal people are offended by Zahawi trying to dodge £4m in tax.
There is a huge crisis in the services for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
I've secured a debate in Parliament this week on this crisis.
So many children are suffering and their families left totally exhausted by this situation.
A lot of people have already shared their experiences with me and I will try to make as many of these points as possible in the debate.
If you would like to share your experience of SEND provision, then please do so below.

A spokesman for Badenoch drew a distinction between her remarks and Labour's position, insisting she was only talking about the richest pensioners and Labour has gone too far in scaling back the benefit
Story: https://t.co/bBPHmLQZFk
🚨 NEW: Kemi Badenoch called for rich pensioners to be stripped of winter fuel payments at her Tory leadership campaign launch two years ago, despite now criticising Labour for doing that
"Why do we not have a more sophisticated mechanism for means testing?"

This is 100% right from @judith_vickress
It's not even on the BBC news homepage.
We should be protesting that we have failed, for decades, to get a grip on the epidemic of male violence in our own homes. It's happening in every village, town, city.
Those poor, poor children
What we have to remember is that Trump's followers actually find this totally OK. Bacon to wind is how their brains work - they flutter like moths without the ability to see through to the essential truths. Years of US TV has done this to them - and we aren't all that far behind
@LondonEconomic Listen to this explanation of Farage. Then those of you that own some bollocks. Admit you have been conned by him.
Once a fool always a gullible, deluded, stupid, short-sighted, deaf, deluded fool of the highest order !!!!!

Last night's interview was a DISASTER for trump.
His mindless denizens will, of course, attempt to spin it as the best performance in the history of performances, but it was BAD.
Like "car wreck" bad.
Like "I couldn't look away" bad.
Firstly, if the goal was to demonstrate how brave trump is for doing an interview, that was a major fail. A sleeping kitten would have been more perilous.
In fact, perhaps only sycophantic Sean Hannity could have done a better job at protecting trump's fragile ego as thoroughly.
No tough questions were asked, not one.
A whole lot of head-nodding agreement.
No challenge to any of his crazy ramblings.
Secondly, a big part of trump's "mystique" is his he-man, macho vibe. But his interviewer treated trump like he was handling a 90-year-old dementia patient in his final days, careful not to upset him or make him the least bit uncomfortable.
There was no fact checking, whatever trump told his interviewer was taken as unquestioned gospel. He wrongly stated the US education system was at the bottom of global rankings (it's 13 out of 177), and then he said he wanted to end the Dept of Education.
The content of this boring show was full of wistful longings about the preferred candidate that he no longer gets to face, President Biden. He bragged repeatedly about how he showered Biden with a firehose of unchecked lies, bragging almost as much as he did about person, woman, man, camera, TV.
He went out of his way to call President Biden and VP Harris "stupid" and other childish utterings you'd NEVER hear Biden or Harris say, confirming for many of us that we should NOT let up on calling that motherfucker "weird."
By contrast, Joe Biden was confronted head-on with tough questions by both George Stephanopoulos and Lester Holt. No free passes, they PRESSED him.
REMINDER: The last tough questions trump got was at the NABJ, where he unraveled and complained about being confronted with his own words, how rude!
Lastly, the unmistakable sound of trump's loose dentures swimming around his big mouth was extremely distracting and off-putting. It definitely made his overall look and sound even MORE pathetic, an impotent, lisping shell of what he once was.
If you caught a picture or video clip of him from the event, he looked even more like someone's sad, weird, old grandpa trying to figure out tech, wondering where his life has gone.
The failure to even launch his event on time should serve as a perfect metaphor for the failures of his administration the first time around to do anything except cut taxes for the wealthy.
How did the Harris-Walz campaign put it? "self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024. Oof, that's gonna leave a mark.
And oh, they are trying to say ONE BILLION people listened to that catastrophe? Luckily for trump, it's as fake as his 6'3" and 215 lb statistics.
The one billion applies to views -- whether or not someone actually listens or just scrolls past, as long as it enters your screen, it counts as a view. All smoke and mirrors.
But if even HALF of that number of people heard that softball "interview," their only takeaway would be that trump is weak, as weak as a grown man can be.
Weak and scared. His dark, dystopian view differs drastically from Kamala Harris' vision for the future, the sunny optimism of improving America through hard work, hope and freedom.
We are NOT going back.
I don't mind that Rishi Sunak is on holiday in California or that he's dining out at a Michelin starred restaurant as there are riots in the UK
What I do mind is that as the leader of the second largest party in parliament, his last Tweet was on August 4th, and he's made no efforts since to comment or speak out about the need for calm, for calling out the far right thugs - many of whom he tried to appease with his Stop The Boats rhetoric - and that seems to show a general disinterest in public order in Britain
Leadership is about being involved and engaged, in any capacity, caring, even an iota, even if you are on holiday on the other side of the world
My uncle is panicking. He’s running against a strong Black woman—and a former prosecutor—who isn’t afraid to call him out or mock him. His whole campaign strategy was based around attacking Joe Biden—his age, his infirmity, his cognitive decline. It was all projection, of course, but because Pres. Biden is old and has slowed down in the last four years, and because he doesn’t shout or bully, Donald was able to make the attacks stick thanks, in large part, to his foot soldiers in the corporate media.
