In around 300 Khadi Institutions are working in Gujarat and around 22,000 Khadi artisans are registered, out of which more than 14,000 artisans belong to SC and ST community.

The certificates were awarded to best spinners and weavers in order to appreciate their work in the cotton, wool, silk and poly Khadi skills.

Hon'ble chairman @ManojGoelBJP ji also appreciated the KI for the highest sale on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

He also put out an amount of Rs 12.74 Cr as subsidy of PMEGP and also distributed the Khadi certificate to 8 new Khadi Institutions which will provide employment to 300 artisans in Gujarat boosting the vision of #Aatmnirbharbharat.
