It's a quiet neighborhood... until this HOA Karen decides his driveway is hers.
Parks there daily, builds a fence right over the property line, blocks his side with trash cans.
'It's my land per old survey!'
He films everything: 'That's encroachment.' Shows measurements—it's clearly his.
She: 'I am the HOA!' Gang of friends backing her up.
He doesn't argue... just gets the saw. Fence crumbles piece by piece.
She returns raging: 'You destroyed my fence!'
He drops the bomb: 'New survey says otherwise. This is my land.'
Instant reversal. Entitled neighbor's world crumbles. Sweet justice. 🪚🔥
@Requiem0fReason@Average_NY_Guy Would you say the same about a sibling who was murdered before you were born? Or might you be sad for your parents' or other survivors' suffering and for your own lost opportunity to know your flesh and blood?
@Average_NY_Guy Bravo! What a great lesson for your fans (myself among them) of the insidious nature of the echo chamber in which we X voyeurs dwell. It wasn't until I got to the second sentence that I caught on. Is it that easy to become a demagogue? Scary!
"Can you post a story condemning Hamas, and this will all end?"
It seems Israeli military personnel are calling the phone of Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza in Gaza.
@realStevenWalk@PicturesFoIder I'm the same. I see the 40+20 and think 60 but then catch the 8 and 7 and know that it's 70 and ends in 5. Happens pretty instantaneously, though.
@millseba@owensparks@Dr_ThomasZ@elonmusk Perhaps an iterative process, the higher the truth score of the scorer, the more weight given to the score, even after the fact. Is there a reason that scores can't change and converge over time?
@RabbiYYS@JetBlue@UnitedHatzalah This goes a long way to demystify Chassidim to those who only see them as a monolith. Also, that's pretty high (about 5,000 times higher than the altitude at which a plane normally cruises)! :)
