I was critical of Jaylen Brown’s play at times. That’s how the job works.

The stuff is such nonsense. He was never a locker room problem. The whole “He might be too smart for basketball” stuff has dogged him his whole career and always been dumb. Yeah, he’s a smart guy who has outside interests. Never felt it impacted him on the court. There are lots of hours in the day to do lots of things.

Also, most scouts aren’t even around teams like that. That’s passing on gossip like the ladies at the hairdresser.
