#Calmadow | Another Puntland military unit has retreated from the front lines after going months without salaries, food and other entitlements, this time leaving the Sugure front in the Calmadow mountains and returning to Dhahar.

The unit had previously fought alongside their clan militia in Shidan before returning to the Calmadow front after withdrawing from the area.

The withdrawal comes just a week after the Afmeer Brigade left the Calmiskaad front over the same grievances before later blocking the Bosaso–Garowe highway in protest.
