No, it is not.
There is an afterlife for sure (and seeing all that strengthens one's belief), but isn't it worth working towards a better world in this life? Yes that's what I will do, I will double down on working towards a world I believe in. Healing souls not just bodies.
Mostly it is just to secure necessities.. food, shelter, medication, starting a family..
If that is our life's story and purpose, then I find it no different to animals.
Maybe it is cliche, but one must spend his life in something he believes in.
We spend much of our adult life at a job, or looking for a job, or thinking about a job, or dealing with consequences of our job on our life and family.
Few of us however enjoy our jobs or the workplace (the people, the place etc).
We do this till we are too old or sick. Really?

فهو متوقع انه المريض موجود ليشكره على جهوده الجبارة و علمه الواسع و شهاداته العظيمة و على تحمله لأسئلة المريض و استفسارات أهله الكثيرة و "التافهة".
لازم يخترعوا تخصص فرعي في علم النفس معني ب"الأطباء" و عجائبهم.
Humans are always struggling. Even when they overcome all apparent struggles, they are bound to create new ones for themselves.
As the saying goes " no one is ever truly comfortable ".
History is full of atrocities.. and so -expectedly- is the present.
This day and age is only different perhaps in the amount of accessible knowledge of the atrocities the common man has.
