This is Mostafa Zico, the Egyptian player who criticized Messi and Argentina by claiming:
“It’s clear that this tournament has been fixed and they favor Messi and Argentina.”
He’s a Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo fan, and his official Facebook account includes posts celebrating refereeing decisions that favored Real Madrid.
It’s no surprise to see him attacking Messi and Argentina. This follows the same narrative many Madrid and Ronaldo fans have pushed for years to try to diminish Messi’s achievements and Argentina’s success.
I honestly don’t understand this obsession with trying to discredit the greatest footballer of all time instead of simply appreciating greatness.
This ummah chummah gimmick doesn't even make sense because Egypt already recognizes Isr@el as an independent state bfr run your agenda's against Argentina but at least keep your facts right
It's so sad to see Palestine become a tool for ppl's personal agendas. If u truly care about Palestine dont use it as a weapon against a certain player. If your concern is genuine donate and support the ppl who actually need it instead of turning their suffering into content.
If it was genuinely an anti-racism gesture, why did his own twin brother (assistant manager) immediately force his hands down? On an issue this serious, you’d expect him to support the gesture not shut it down?
Zlatan Ibrahimović on Hossam Hassan's claim that Argentina were favoured because of World Cup marketing:
🗣️ “Every time Messi wins, people suddenly start talking about conspiracies. It's the same story over and over again. Instead of accepting defeat, they look for excuses.
“If you're leading 2–0 and still don't win the match, don't blame marketing, the referees, or the tournament. Look at yourselves first. Football doesn't forgive mistakes, especially at the World Cup.
“I have no respect for excuses like that. A national team manager should be setting the example by taking responsibility, not creating narratives that take attention away from what happened on the pitch.
“Argentina fought until the end and earned their result. If you lose, accept it, learn from it, and come back stronger. That's what football is about.”
