'On Tuesday we got a call to help this little darling and of course we said yes.
She has been in the vets since we said yes.
She was found with lacerations, a bad ligature wound to her back leg, which looks like she may have been tethered by her hind limb, full of worms and fleas and with bent front limbs, likely down to poor nutrition.
We’ve got her through the worst bit and got her all the treatment she needs and tomorrow she leaves the vets to go into foster under one of the rescues that we work with.
Lots of healing physically and mentally and the start of a new life of happiness.

'ROSIE has moved into a home today
She has had a big day, as this morning she had an early trip to the vets for a heart scan . She has mitral valve disease, but the good news is, it’s early and she has no symptoms or signs of heart failure, so she is starting on Vetmedin, and our vet is confident this will be all she needs and her lifespan will not be affected, so it’s really good news for Rosie that this was noticed early.

Please retweet, urgent home needed for 12 yr old ROSIE Terrier 💔💔💔 Rosie is another of our new arrivals from the council pound. #YORKSHIRE #UK She hadn’t had any offers of help, and we just couldn’t leave her there at her age.
Rosie is struggling in kennels - she’s started to put the brakes on and refuse to come back into her kennel which is just heartbreaking, but who can blame her - she shouldn’t be homeless at her age and be having to go into a kennel. She is safe with us, but desperately unhappy and we won’t sit back and let her struggle.
We URGENTLY need a foster home for Rosie ideally with a view to adoption (but not essential).
Rosie needs a quieter home where she will get plenty of company, older children upwards, no cats, possibly a very calm smaller older dog as she just ignores dogs . The only time we’ve heard her bark is at a horse - she likes to tell them that she might only be small but she is a terrier after all .
If you can help us to get this gorgeous little old lady out of kennels, please get in touch ASAP!!
