🗣️ “After watching that match, I don't want to hear anyone say Brazil don't need Neymar. The game exposed exactly why he remains one of the most important players this country has produced.

When Brazil were struggling, who was demanding the ball? Who was slowing the game down when it became chaotic? Who was capable of creating something from absolutely nothing? Those are the questions people should be asking.

For years, people focused on Neymar's goals, skills, and headlines. What they failed to appreciate was the responsibility he carries. When things go wrong, Brazil naturally look towards him.

Against Morocco, Brazil looked like a team with talent but without a clear reference point. There was no player consistently taking control of the rhythm, no player forcing the opposition to change their plan.

I'm not saying Neymar would have magically solved every problem. Football doesn't work like that. But I am saying Morocco would have been thinking about him every second they were on the pitch.

That's the difference between a great player and a special player. One plays the game. The other changes how the entire game is played around him.

And after what I watched, one thing became very clear: Brazil have many talented players. But they still don't have another Neymar.”
