3) tried to relieve right-to-shelter costs
4) allowed NYPD to brutally enforce moped registration laws

Police brutality is not the answer. But neither is ignorance of the problem.

But we're making headway! What Adams describes as a "migrant crisis", you see as a "migrant blessing". In which case you must agree with his pleas for federal help, yes?

What's also true is that incentives drive outcomes.

You know what you get when you allow migrants to work? More migrants.

We agree that asylum laws need to change. Why not focus on the root of the problem instead of NY's misguided desperate solutions?

Will it make a dent? Probably not.

But it's not xenophobia, it's a desperate move from a desperate man.

The flow of migrants won't stop until asylum laws change.

NYC right-to-shelter laws mean that every migrant is Adams' responsibility to house.

It's an uncapped liability.
