Tesla has announced that it will increase production output at its Giga Berlin factory by another 20% to 7,500 vehicles per week starting in October of this year.

This is in addition to the 20% production output increase previously announced a few months ago.

Tesla will hire 1,000 additional employees by October for this new increase in production.

"3,500 additional jobs will be created in the short and medium term for vehicle and battery manufacturing at the plant," Tesla said.

🇪🇸🇺🇸 Iberia's first Starlink plane just went live

Flight IB3267 left Madrid for São Paulo last night with WiFi that actually works, free for everyone on board, no cabin tiers, no per-hour meter ticking while you load a single email.

Speeds top out around 450 to 500 Mbps, basically home broadband at cruising altitude, and it runs gate to gate so you're online before the wheels even move.

This is just the first plane. Iberia plans to have Starlink on 35% of its long-haul fleet by the end of the year, and its owner IAG has signed up to fit more than 500 aircraft across British Airways, Ireland's Aer Lingus and Spain's budget carrier Vueling.

For an industry that spent years charging you by the hour for WiFi that barely loaded a map, that is a real shift.
