A prospect asked us “Why not just give everyone a discount instead of making them play a game first?”
It’s a fair question. But here’s the thing:
👉 A plain discount is forgettable. It’s just another “10% off” in a crowded inbox.
👉 A discount earned through play is a reward. It feels special, fun, and share-worthy.
👉 And while a blanket discount burns margin across the board, a game-based discount targets only your most engaged shoppers - the ones most likely to convert and spread the word.
So you’re not just giving away margin… you’re buying attention, engagement, and brand love.
Anyone can hand out a coupon.
The brands that win turn discounts into experiences.
@Feastables@MrBeast We built a game inspired by @MrBeast and @Feastables for Halloween. Would mean a lot if you guys can check it out https://t.co/AcAwqFz1eB
(we are an upcoming game agency and this is the first game we built) :)
We just built our demo game and I'm giving away $20 to the first person who can beat my top score! 😎
It’s themed around Halloween, @MrBeast and @Feastables and (nope, they’re not customers… yet 😉).
The concept is really simple but it can still get addictive even today. We at KhoKho Games try to get inspired by the simple yet powerful concepts of gaming like pong.
In today's edition of Throwback Thursday let's talk about Pong (1972) developed by Atari. We have all played the game atleast once in our lives. Contrary to popular belief though, it wasn't really the first game to be developed (that title goes to Tennis for Two in 1958) but it was a massively successful arcade game that led the way for video game industry.
Fun fact: The first Pong machine broke…from too many quarters. The prototype at a California bar stopped working because the coin box overflowed and jammed the machine. 😅
Did you know?
Squirrels "sploot" or stretch out on their bellies on cool surfaces to regulate their body temperature in hot weather.
This behavior, called splooting, helps them dissipate heat and cool down.
