@infusioncenter Is the cost to employers actually lower? Are there data files available that show the savings or it simply self- dealing to owned subsidiary specialty pharmacies?.
Yep. They didn’t need the docs, they just needed their licenses...so, get all the reimbursement, pay docs a salary plus incentive, and go merrily down the road. And now, they’ve cheapened it even further by using NPs, PAs and algorithmic medicine. Why? Profits Over Patients...
@real_defender@realDonaldTrump You may "protect" preexisting conditions but if you take away community rating, you will likely cover preexisting conditions by charging sick people more.
@MiafJack @cjlawlor95@realDonaldTrump Risk sharing is the whole reason for insurance. If you want to pay your own way and no one else's, then be prepared to lose everything if you get sick through no fault of your own.
Just 2 weeks ago, UnitedHealth, the largest private health insurer in the country, reported huge profits. United’s first-quarter 2020 revenues, shattering expectations, grew $4.1 billion — 6.8% — to $64.4 billion. Hold on to your horses...you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.#Covid19

To be clear, some but certainly not all private practices would qualify in the more generic small business provisions in the stimulus. We need wording specific to physician practices that take into account the unique nature of these businesses, just like the airline industry has.
So where are the Med Insurance cos? Are they helping anyone fight this pandemic? Where have those @Humana; @WellCare_Health; @AnthemBCBS etc etc assholes gone? Where are they hiding ?
@CMichaelGibson So they are not even as effective as surgical masks and certainly nowhere near as good as n95. I read somewhere that people were using the sewn ones to go over the n95 to extend their useful life. I also read that microfiber was an even better filtering media.
@Visa can you eliminate the need to sign? People are washing their hands, getting their food, paying with a credit card THEN being contaminated when asked to sign with a dirty pen. Let's get the USA up with the rest of the world that no longer signs their cc receipt.
