THEY SAY MALEMA SCARES PEOPLE BECAUSE HE CHALLENGES STATUS QUO; MEDIA TWISTS HIS WORDS, PORTRAYING HIM IN A BAD LIGHT; I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR @Julius_S_Malema AND PEOPLE SHOULD LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS
โNot only is Julius Malema an extremely intelligent human being; he is a brilliant politician. White people fear him for two reasons. First, media portrays Julius in a very specific way. They will take things that he has said out of context, and say look at this crazy person. How dare heโฆ When you actually go listen to what he said, he makes sense. Second reason that white people fear Julius is that he questions the status quo. He is actively fighting to change what is going on in this country, and a lot of white people are very comfortable with whatโs going on in this country. They have power, they have privilege, they have everything that they want. I donโt mean individual white people โ before you come here and say โI donโt have a jobโ โ if it doesnโt apply to you, just shut up and listen, because when we talk about privilege, particularly white privilege, we talk about a response that people have to you, socially. Before we talk about positions or whatnot, we talk about our response, socially; the assumption that a white person is more educated; the assumption that a white person has more moral values; and acts more ethically. So, yeah, Malema scares people, because he challenges the status quo, and because heโs been portrayed in a very specific light. I have a lot of respect for Julius Malema and I think more people should listen to what he has to say.โ
