People across the country did not vote BJP because of Dharmendra Pradhan. Even in Odisha his appeal is quite limited. What makes him so indispensable that you won't even move him out to another Ministry, much less sack him???
It is not about Pradhan. It is about his boss who will not be seen as yielding to pressure as he is the strongman.

This situation could have been defused weeks ago by shifting Pradhan to another Ministry. It would have shown the Govt as sensitive to public opinion and at the same time you need not have been seen as succumbing to pressure by sacking him.
