I heard someone say, "If you knew you were 100 rejections away from your dream, think how excited you'd be every time someone told you no."
That stuck w/ me.
UNPLANNED DEVELOPMENT IS A DANGER WE CAN NO LONGER IGNORE
The collapse of the building in Eastleigh yesterday is a stark reminder of the dangers of unplanned development and the devastating consequences of ignoring proper planning and safety standards.
In Kileleshwa, where buildings are rising almost beacon to beacon, residents continue to live with growing anxiety as development outpaces essential infrastructure and proper oversight. It is becoming increasingly clear that someone at City Hall is sleeping on the job
A Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan (LPDP) for Kileleshwa is long overdue. Our residents deserve a neighbourhood where development is orderly, infrastructure is adequate, and safety is not sacrificed at the altar of profit.
We cannot afford to wait for a similar tragedy to strike before taking action. We shall continue to push for a comprehensive LPDP to protect Kileleshwa residents and secure the future of our neighbourhood.

TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY: THE LEADERSHIP KILELESHWA DESERVES
Transparency and accountability are the foundation of good governance in Kenya. Edwin Sifuna @edwinsifuna has consistently raised these issues, emphasising the need for leaders to be answerable to the people they serve.
These are values that resonate with the leadership I advocate for in Kileleshwa. As I seek to serve as MCA in 2027, I believe residents deserve a representative who asks the hard questions, demands accountability, and puts the public interest first. Leadership must be about serving the people, not serving oneself.
