First good photography session in Central Park in a long time when I stumbled upon this adult red-tailed hawk and its fledgling who is still learning how to properly fly. #birdcpp
Since the long eared owls have departed here’s a photo I took the other day when on turned it’s head my way. The views and lighting weren’t the best but still grateful for another encounter with this owl. This was taken at a respectful distance and low shutter speed. #birdcpp
Excited to share my very first coyote photo taken in Central Park. I saw both Romeo and Juliet the other day and I believe that this is Romeo as he was the significantly larger coyote. Taken from a respectful distance with a very slow shutter speed with my bridge camera. #birdcpp
Now that the Barred Owls gone here’s a photo I took around dusk when she flew down from the canopy and landed on a log on the other side of the stream, where she stared at the water for about 10 minutes before flying off to hunt. #owls#birdcpp#birdphotography
