The Tamil Nadu Secretariat needs a dedicated press room, podium, and a trained multilingual spokesperson. Hallway briefings and unrestricted media access look unprofessional. Press access should be limited to designated areas through an accredited pass system.@CMOTamilnadu

There are media reports that Tamil Nadu government is planning to implement liquor policies that are comparable to say Bengaluru. Government would exit liquor distribution and privatise it.

Lot of us have been saying for a long time Tamil Nadu's liquor policy should be on lines of say Karnataka and Maharashtra.

This would vastly improve the social life and would be able to attract more talent and investments to the state.

Hope the state government takes a right decision.
