Master Chief floats through space.

Cut to black.

Then we see Cortana’s memories....Halo 4. Halo 5. Infinite. Everything that came after Halo 3… distorted, fragmented, escalating into a horrifying dream.

Suddenly...

Cortana wakes.

She looks around.

Silence.

None of it happened.
