@BrianLeishmanMP I’ve said for a while that Labour has lost its way and is not the party of the working people anymore. Independence offers the Scottish branch the chance to make its own way back to its roots free from courting Tory/reform votes!
@AndyRossAuthor@WorkElizab I support your amended position that toxic tipping is creeping in and should be resisted but it is not down to a successful progressive policy that is working in many countries across the globe.
@AndyRossAuthor@WorkElizab You’re so confident, you deleted your original comment?! we are seeing pressure to tip in countries outside of the USA but your attempt to link it to NMW is as weak as your understanding of the success of the policy!
@AndyRossAuthor@WorkElizab You are an author who can’t read? Wonders truly will never cease! The sign and image are from the USA!
UK hospitality profit margins mirror those of the USA at 3-9% despite the uk having a far better min wage, lower food waste, better service and no toxic tipping culture.
@Humbertotexas10@WorkElizab USA restaurants waste $162 billion of food waste (12 million tons) annually. 70% of which is plate waste due to unnecessarily large portions. There’s where the servers wages are going- in the bin! Cut the portions, increase the wages and maintain margins!
@Humbertotexas10@WorkElizab There are dictators across history who have looked on in awe at the level of indoctrination that the USA has achieved in their population. Often the same dictators who the USA demonises through the same system of propaganda!
@Malcolm_Offord Interesting that you think minorities should be respected when it refers specifically to your own party but not when it comes to the minorities that you wish to demonise. There’s fringe political views in every society, validating them doesn’t help the situation.
@BrianLeishmanMP I’ve been saying for quite some time. The Labour Party is that in name only, the British Labour Party has turned its back on its roots and is unlikely to swing back while chasing reform voters. Only with Indy can a true Labour Party return to Scotland
@michaelgove Pathetically poor politicking from you to try and use a world renowned education system as a weapon!
You’re not Trump and not operating in the USA so your audience actually has the capacity to see through your lies.
@dpd_ukcare_ I’m now awaiting a call back from a manager. Apparently it’ll be within 2 hours and either tonight or Saturday?! So far your driver and then your agent have told outright lies to me and that’s the high point of the “service” I’ve had!
@dpd_ukcare_ “customer service” you’re a day late for April Fool’s! 18 minutes wait and the agent terminated the call as soon as it connected! Not even a hello! Must’ve been the end of their shift!
@BankofScotland any chance of accurate information on the website about not being able to get into our accounts? Cash is king for this reason! Digital can go down or be put down! Poor when other websites have better info
@BrianLeishmanMP@Sunday_Mail@ScottishLabour These are fair points but given ScotGovs actions to fix the very LAB policies you have openly criticised can you really suggest that Labour are a solution? If not for ScotGov your voters would suffer from policies you have campaigned against.
@Heccles94 The legal profession making weak and tenuous arguments can end up being accepted in front of a foreign court who has no stake in the matter. For the people, by the people is a reasonable expectation which those judges can’t meet.
@Heccles94 I support all of these, however the issue is not the ECHR it’s the way it’s often misused to delay or frustrate legitimate action by our institutions. You never hear about the times when it’s genuinely used to protect rights, only when it’s abused.
