@seasunsoulful Good morning π Esther. Haven't seen your posts in a few weeks. Lovely to see you this morning and that glorious backdrop of ocean and sun. Enjoy !
Having βyoung energyβ as you get older is literally just not getting fucking demoralised and becoming a resentful endless whiner, but instead possessing hope, passion, and vigour at an age where people expect life to have already sucked the soul out of you.
It is true power.
"wick's law" is the most powerful and immutable rule on the internet.
we have become fully desensitized to just about everything else. you can watch jack reacher machinegun 127 people in ever more creative ways and...nothing.
you can steal property, indoctrinate children, rig elections, and most of america yawns.
but you touch one animal and it brings down the wrath.
we are not desensitized to this.
we still feel it for what it is.
in a weird way, this may be one of the great US citizenship tests. do you know this? do you know not to do this? do you understand what will happen if you do?
few other cultures act this way. it's a pretty uniquely western mindset and one that finds particularly intense expression in america.
perhaps it's just the one "socially acceptable" form of societal imposition to rage about that remains to us where no one calls you "racist" because fur trumps skin color and no one is going to line up against puppydogs and pussycats.
it's funny the things that wind up being the tripwires for your societal immune systems. but here we are...
When someone really cares for you and is down for you, they wonβt have to say it. Youβll be able to tell by the way they treat you and in their actions.
