If they had won, you would have used a photograph of the captain, Harry Souttar. There is absolutely no well-intentioned reason for choosing this guy’s picture other than to make the Black player in a predominantly white team the face of the defeat and subject him to cyberbullying.
Zendaya and Tom Holland got married and no one knew about it and we still haven't seen pictures. THAT is romantic. Having a massive spectacle in the middle of midtown on a holiday weekend is tacky as hell.
This is wrong. I've spent plenty of time in rooms with Jaylen and I find him to be humble, super kind, curious ... and, yes, VERY intelligent.
My guess: the people who would say something like this while in rooms with @FCHWPO likely were ... not that smart.
She’s just another psychotic billionaire. On a holiday weekend. Amidst all this worldwide suffering, the ultra-wealthy still have no compunction. Unreal.
Teams are willing to tolerate drug users, domestic violence abusers, drunk driving, all kinds of loutish behavior, but don’t be smart. Don’t be too smart for your own good. 🙄

Some mediocre, insecure white people seem to believe that if you’re not mixed with white, you can’t be brilliant. To cope with that belief, they dismiss exceptional Black people as “arrogant” or invent some other negative narrative like affirmative action and DEI to cope better.
We have so many cops in NYC that with 2 days notice we can deploy 10,000 of them to patrol a 7 block, half mile parade route without jeopardizing patrols in the rest of the city.
Calling for more cops in this moment is so ridiculously out of touch with reality.
