@theblanketdog @averagemoneymd We started contrasting them all here probably back when you were a resident. Much better info--often times helps differentiate between stone, appy, pyelo, abscess, etc and completes the workup with minimal, if any, missed stones. No complaints from uro

I've been impressed when someone breaks our windows (x2--hell of a bad shot), but don't love it when people open my gated fence to come into my yard for a single ball

@drmoneymatters @spartywrx You can have systemwide credentialing and only need to submit documents once but jcaho does prohibit systemwide privileges—meaning that paperwork needs done for each site. It sucks. There is 1 good thing—stops hospitals from forcing you to work at shops you don’t want to.

@GamerEMDoc @Kev_In_Med I'm torn--yes, CAS will be less expensive but fear that dual applicants or students using EM as a parallel plan will actually see costs go up as they will have to use both ERAS and CAS--maybe I'm just paranoid but I feel like this part is ignored when we say costs down

@ScholerinED I disagree with the courts decision and am worried about democracy after this, but… we actually sorta have this where I work. Employed by state so not liable personally for malpractice if working where assigned by state and the dean. Have to sue state/university, not doc

@emily_fri Me too, I’m totally not an organized fun kinda person IRL. I’ve never been a joiner or attendee of extra activities unless I’m really interested in a topic which makes it hard for me to adapt at work

@emily_fri So we are riding the middle—trying to create organized fun during protected time (so that it doesn’t take away from time at home) and then streamlining admin tasks to create more full days off
The result? Both groups want us to go all in on one or the other, which is tough
