Can you tell the difference between the person and the AI?
I can't.
@blocks has created a really high-quality model; how can I experience it?
🇨🇳 DeepSeek started out as a quantitative investment firm, and today it has become a leading tech company. It took only 4 years, from 2019 to 2023.
They entered the field of artificial intelligence by open-sourcing everything they could. They wanted to give back to the community, attract users, break down barriers, and bring humanity closer to true artificial general intelligence (AGI).
And thanks to that, we get to use really good models that keep getting closer to the power of America’s frontier models, at a much lower cost.
And now, DeepSeek has just raised $15 billion, putting it in direct competition with the leading US AI labs.

I really like @claudeai visualization feature.
I'd like to ask if there are any suitable effects?
I prompted: Please list the effects along with the visualization images for me.
Also, I often check system designs using those visualizations.
A website can look great and still not rank. Any thoughts?

Would love your input.
Wishlyr v1.2.1 is live on the App Store 🎉
4 new Home Screen widgets:
🛑 No Buy: days kept + one-tap check-in
⏳ Waiting to review: wants ready to decide
💰 Budget: what's left this month
📊 By category: this month's spending
Try it and tell me what you think 🙏
Submitted v1.2.1 for review today
New widgets so you don't have to open the app:
- track your No Buy challenge
- track items waiting for review
- track your budget
- track spending or skipped value
App review has been really fast lately, usually 2-3 days for my app.
Stay tuned.
I follow both Tyler and Marc, and I'm not taking sides. Everyone has their own view.
But this time I think Tyler hurt himself. Getting personal, mocking Marc's startups and his revenue, and painting the people who follow him as losers just isn't okay.
We all know how hard it is to build a successful startup. Countless founders fail again and again before they make it, and failing is completely normal. Meanwhile Marc runs market-leading products as a one-person team, which is already extraordinary.
We shouldn't attack each other like this. Let's keep this a healthy, competitive space where everyone ships products according to their own vision.
As a follower, I've learned so many great lessons from both of them. If this story keeps going, let's see what else we'll learn 👀

I've prepared widgets, and they're ready to reach users.
I built them to let users:
- view their no-buy behavior
- view their spending status
- see their remaining budget
- check in no-buy
Users can:
- easily see their behaviors and habits being kept up, right from the screen
- easily interact right on the screen
