Today is the day. Nightshade v1.0 is ready. Performance tuning is done, UI fixes are done.

You can download Nightshade v1.0 from

Please read the what-is page and also the User's Guide on how to run Nightshade. It is a bit more involved than Glaze

dude is this yours, I think you've dropped it back over there

Unity's new Runtime Fee is a complete joke. Even their example calculation shows a game with $2 million in revenue having to pay Unity $282k per year, or 14% of revenue. And that's on top of the $2000/seat/year Unity Pro license cost.

@dishudong001 I'm stuck on the level throwing paper into the bin, there seems to be no way of actually throwing it except just dropping it? Very confused - any suggestions?

The statements from Thierry Breton of the European Commission about shutting down social media during riots are shocking. They vindicate every warning about the DSA that experts from the majority world (aka global south) have been shouting throughout this process. 1/

So. Let's go over a list of a few things Bluesky will almost certainly need to figure out before they're ready to be a truly viable competitor to Twitter:

People who haven't found out what it's like working there.

Everything Everywhere All At Once is now the most-awarded movie in history.

With 158 accolades to date, it beats out Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" which has received 101 major accolades since its release 20 years ago, according to IGN.

Gutted I won't be able to make the London Ateez show on Wednesday, if anyone wants the ticket lmk - I'd rather someone use it than it go to waste (floor ticket, not seating)

A girl on tik tok said “I would rather adjust my life to your absence, than adjust my boundaries to accommodate your disrespect” and I think that a lot of people need to take that and really engrave it into their soul.

How is China building SO MUCH rooftop solar, SO FAST?

What kind of policy makes this possible?
Do the projects even make money?

If you follow the China power sector, you've probably been wondering these things.

Last weekend, I went to the Shandong countryside to get answers.🧵

JK Rowling’s transphobic comments in recent years have made the launch of Hogwarts Legacy a flashpoint for fans and reviewers

I spoke to an EiC whose site isn’t just skipping a review but not writing a guide. That’s an even bigger revenue sacrifice

The first challenge, for those interested.

Of course I dumped the whole thing into ChatGPT, and the fact that it cannot solve it just proves that ChatGPT can help with patterns it saw. If it's not been trained on solutions to this problem, it is pretty much useless.

Just a reminder that “the UK public sector pay hits 19-year low in real terms” means Gen-X and Millennials have been working with sub-par pay their *entire* careers compared to the generations before them

Support the strikers, they deserve to get pay that keeps up with inflation
