CMPD continues to be astounded by the level of community support that we have received this week.
In the latest show of support, @Lowes has been gracious enough to offer blue LED light bulbs for FREE at 30 Lowe’s locations in Charlotte. The goal is that residents who receive these bulbs will install them on their front porch to show their support for all law enforcement officers.
The bulbs will begin to be distributed this weekend. See your local Lowe’s store in the greater Charlotte region for more details.
One of the most fun celebrations, @CarolinaYouthCo’s Mystic Krewe of Crowns on Mardi Gras!
So honored to be named the night’s Queen, alongside King Kieth Cockrell.
If you don’t know about the amazing impact CYC makes in our community, please check them out!!!
Final days of rehearsal. I’m dancing for the Harvest Center of Charlotte. Situational homelessness is a complex issue that keeps thousands of individuals and families at the bottom of the economic ladder in Charlotte. The Center has a proven method to move them up the ladder.
Go Red for Women celebrated this past Friday evening across the Charlotte skyline. Cardiovascular disease is still the leading cause of death for women here in the US. Bank of America supports the American Heart Association.
Hannah and Shardae Hasan created #EpochTribe, a production company that honors and illuminates the stories of Black people. These live on-stage original productions share real stories of real people and communities, including our upcoming show, The Men Inside.
