When Don Rickles hosted SNL in 1984, he and Joe Piscopo would roast each other during the week while prepping for the show, but when the "Witness Relocation" sketch went live, not only did the roasting start up again as ad-libs but escalated into slapping each other as many times as they could 😂
While filming SEINFELD's "The Marine Biologist" episode, the writers felt the ending didn't work, and last minute realized they could connect Kramer's storyline of hitting golf balls into the ocean and George's storyline of attempting to save a beached whale. At 2AM, they wrote Jason Alexander's speech that would close out the episode, and handed it to him the following morning, thirty minutes before the scene would have to be taped. Alexander said "No problem", quickly memorized the dialogue, and nailed the scene in one take 🔥 it's still absolutely insane he never won an Emmy for playing George Costanza
@and_kell@FogelSylvia My pleasure. I have a son with profound autism and understand what it is like in the trenches. Wishing you all the best and let me know if the Autism Society can do anything to help you.
Thanks,
