You should get to a time in life when you cannot be relying on having accountability partners for things that would positively affect your life, abeg.
At some point, you need to be able to hold yourself accountable. Because nobody can want your growth more than you do.
Winners win again and again. If you’ve done it once you. You can do it again
Create a list of all your wins and remind yourself that winners win again and again,
Underrated life advice: get better at recovering fast. You're going to fail. You're going to get rejected. Make bad calls. Lose money. Embarrass yourself. Whatever it is, the goal is shrinking the gap between falling down and getting back up. Master the art of starting over.
And with that comes one of the most memorable lines in Nigerian political history: “When the come comes to become, they will know that we, the men of timber and calibre, and of caterpillars and bulldozers, have come to stop all stoppables and bulldoze all bulldoze-ables.” — K. O. Mbadiwe. 😂
As a Christian, pls continue to leverage on the word of God. Play it in the background. Actively pray and continue to speak good things into your life.
From the bottom of my heart, I love the women in this generation.
Far from perfect, but I love them.
There is just something about the women of this generation. The decentering of shame. The willingness to speak up. The refusal to quietly carry things that were never theirs to carry in the first place.
There is still so much to learn, unlearn and get right, but honestly, I look at these women and I think…
The kids are alright fr. ❤️
“Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with skill, but time and chance happen to them all.” — Ecclesiastes 9:11
Earlier this year… My sister after giving birth with CS had her intestine ruptured. She had 3 surgeries within a month. All 3 of them failed. The Doctors were even more confused than us. It was soo bad.
When she went to the ICU the lady that entered just before her died. The lady that entered after her died. The other man that was there got transferred after his case got bad. She was the only person that survived!
My family prayed earnestly we lost all hope. But we held on to God. God gave me his word on NSPPD(God bless you Sir @RealJerryEze) Acts 12:6 - And the church earnestly prayed for Peter and the Lord sent his angel
He give the same word to my aunt(That was when I found peace)
How she survived and is back on her feet this day we can’t explain. Nobody can because all 3 surgeries failed terribly! The Drs were even avoiding us. It was badd
Alimosho General hospital Igando.
When she went back to the hospital 2 months after being discharged all the doctors and nurses ran out to see her. Nobody could believe she would survive. Her stomach was butchered!! 🔪
The nurses told her people with difficult cases started rushing her bed space after we left cause everyone saw how much we prayed and they were surprised she survived.😂
The security lady at the hospital kept saying she’s hardly ever seen people go to ICU and come out alive in that hospital.
When I tell you I serve a living God and he’s too real it’s because of what he’s done for me and my family.
It’s not hear say… God has fed me on multiple occasions! He has stained me!
I tell you what God can not do.. it doesn’t exist!
That’s why I am happily brainwashed and enslaved for Jesus!!(I attached some media)
you think your desires are lofty and unreachable and God sends a glimmer of possibility your way to remind you that you are worthy of your dreams, and they are much nearer than you think.
But beyond all the achievements, I pray that you are okay. That you are happy, safe, loved, held and surrounded by people who pour into you as much as you pour into everyone else. I pray that life is gentle with you.
over the past 2 to 3 years, the Lord has been teaching me so much on faith and obedience. He has also made me put a lot of that into writing. you can get a digital copy here https://t.co/5w1L2Ti6w6 ✨
“We are not into ill£gal m!ning. The Niger State Civil Defence Corps don’t have the right to shøøt at us. We are under 18. Heat cannot k!ll a gold miner.”

I’m anti-boarding school like maddd! If you check my page, you’ll see that I’m very vocal about my stance. DO NOT send your children to boarding school! The downside is wayyy more than the upside.
All those talks about “boarding school shaped me,” yada yada, is just copium. Anyone who attended one, especially from JSS1–SS3, needs to see a therapist.
* I eat too fast. I literally have to tell myself to calm down, that nobody is counting for me anymore.
* I do not know how to miss people. Not friends. Not family. Not people I care about. It is not as though I don’t love them; I have just lost the ability to miss people. Out of sight = out of mind.
* Do you know that a decade later, I still dream about boarding school every other week? I’m sure a lot of people who attended one can relate as well.
* In boarding school, you are bullied so much that, at some point, it starts feeling like your new normal. And the reason that pattern is never broken is because the SS1 students you bullied in SS3 are desperately waiting for their own turn when they get to SS3, so they can finally do the same thing to the new set of SS1 students. A vicious cycle.
I’m not here to invalidate anyone’s experience. Some of you may argue that the best six years of your life were the ones you spent in boarding school. Those of you who share this sentiment are the minority.
No child should spend the formative years of their life in a boarding school. If I co-exist with someone who attended one for just one hour, I can already tell because of the similar habits, often bad ones, that we share. You end up always on edge. It is bad.
Imagine waking up every day of your life as a teenager by 5:30am, knowing fully well that no matter how well-behaved you are, there is always some punishment or strokes of the cane, belt, hanger, chain, cutlass, or slaps lurking around for you.
You are either sitting on your head, hanging on the wall, frog-jumping, rolling in the mud, crawling long distances on gravel, giving up your meals and provisions to your seniors, as a TEENAGER.
Imagine someone giving you N100 to go to the tuck shop, buy something worth N500, and still be asked to return N200 change?
Imagine having to hide to eat your own provisions, hiding your cutlery, belt, sandals, perfumes, e.t.c., simply because someone can just tell you to hand them over and there’s nothing you can do about it? Yeah, that is how bad it is.
I’ll continue preaching this for those who care to listen: do not send your children to boarding school. I went to one; now they don’t have to go through the same thing.
Are there upsides? Of course. But when the downside of something outweighs the upside, it is no longer healthy.
If you don’t want to raise children who will end up as adults with teenage trauma, do not send them to boarding schools. I hope you take this seriously.
I cannot repeat the sordid details but we reached the unanimous decision that he wouldn't be returning. Boarding school does not teach you about life. It teaches you conformity. The only people who endorse it are the ones who bullied others or were friends of the bullies.
