Raila Odinga was like the elephant in a dark room. Each of us touched a part of him;a leg and thought him a tree, a side and thought him a wall, a trunk and thought him a hose, a tail and thought him a whip.Only now, with the light on, and him resting with the ancestors do we see the enormity of who he was — good, flawed, immense, divisive and deliberative. An indelible part of 🇰🇪 journey.
I campaigned for William Ruto as if my father was the one becoming president. Someone I had dinner with somewhere in Berlin looked me in the eye and said "John, I blame you." I will never forget those eyes. Jokes on me, now am told I am a Kikuyu. Was I a Russian man back then? Does "Túgokira tene, túgokíra tene' sound like Russian to you? Nikikumbuka natokwa na wazimu mimi niacheni kabisa mimi maumbwa niacheni kabisa sina nguvu mimi niachwe. ⚖️
Dialogue led by the same greedy, tribal & useless Kenyan politicians is not the solution. Facilitate a constitutional conference for the young generation & let them come up with a new constitutional order that will be the basis of how they will be governed. Old tricks won't work!
Gone through the whole script. Summary.
It's set in an Islamic, middle Eastern country ruled by a Sultan.
It's recovering from war but is undergoing civil unrest.
A young man named Mustapha is arrested during a demonstration, and his mum is trying to get him out of jail. Turns out him and his father were just offering medical aid to protesters, with a new technology that allows people to be treated from long distances, but his father got shot in the scuffle.
The arresting officer has a gripe with kids like Mustapha as his daughter, Anifa, went to university but came back pregnant. (Apparently, Mustapha is the culprit, but he doesn't know yet) Eventually, Mustapha's mum convinces him to let him go by invoking his good character and religious background.
Word gets to the Sultan about this new invention, and he summons Mustapha and rewards him greatly by telling him to live in his Palace and other gifts. However, before this happens, a background check is done, and the Sultan discovers that Mustpaha was one of them main agitators of civil unrest against his rule. He is then scheduled to be executed on live TV
Meanwhile, Anifa, whose full name is Anifa Iman, but shortened to A.I. Is revealed to be some sort of techno-genius with knowledge about almost everything, and her pregnancy is actually symbolic for the potential and hopes of the country.
Anifa runs a control room where she monitors what happens in the country and is now leading the revolution against bad governance. She invites members of her generation to see how the control room works. Among those invited is Fatma, who then invites her boyfriend Xavier. But Xavier is the Sultan's son and heir to the throne.
Back at the Sultan's, Mustapha is about to be executed but agrees to become a state witness and give information about the generations' activities in exchange for mercy.
The climax of the play is when, Anifa, shows poor salary information of the police and the whole nation rises in a revolution. The Sultan leads his army to a police station that Anifa has led her generation to burning down. Not before signing a declaration that should anything happen to him, Xavier will take up his throne.
They fire at the crowd. Xavier, who happened to be there, gets shot. The Sultan sees this and stops the shooting and starts mourning over his child.
Mustpaha, however, uses the technology to revive Xavier, and the Sultan is grateful. He then becomes more willing to hear out the grievances of the generation.
After some deliberation, both sides agree to work together and use the technology for the good of the nation and better governance.

Good morning Kenya!
We speak to them in the language they understand.
Today we take a peaceful March to @PublicWorksKen and @ncakenya to present our concerns on the building code 2024 and the need for our recognition and regulation.
