@PURELlFE Difference is simple if you grew up an LA Raiders fan (just like if you grew up an LA Rams fan after they left LA): you’re a fan of the team you grew up rooting for, not the city they play in. Raiders fans stayed Raiders fans & Rams fans stayed Rams fans no matter there they play
@Saltlick628@WejuggernautEnt@Novig@BryanDFischer LA proper is a shithole bc of the shit politicians and the useful idiots who elect them. But lots of parts (beaches, hills, certain hoods) are some of the best spots in the world with the best climate in the world. Plus, if you just go a bit north or south, also amazing.
@SethDavisHoops Wrong. Because there are so many transplants and it’s a generally flaky, empty culture, it appears to not be a sports town. Proportionally, maybe so. But by sheer numbers, absolutely not. Huge amount of die hards for each local team. See: ticket sales and TV ratings.
@BCrawford247 Oppressive humidity, something Angelenos are not used to, plus San Jose State. Wasn’t so much about the temp number, which wasn’t unusual for Aug in LA. Humidity makes it feel much worse and something we aren’t used to. But if playing a big game (UCLA), would have been full.
@dodgersjordan Wasn’t so much the heat (90/91), which we are used to. It’s the humidity, which is very unusual for LA (at 80%!). Any city’s open air stadium will not get much fans for a severe weather occurrence that city never experiences, esp for an inconsequential game. San Jose St.!?!😂😂😂
@ZachCohenFB Houston’s primary set is a dumpster fire & the logo is clip art boring. H-town set far superior; they need to switch to it permanently.
Titans full set really nice (especially after being in bottom of league look wise for so long). Just need to swap pants / sock colors on alts.
@Thistle_Sports@packers@Titans@HoustonTexans@Vikings@ChicagoBears@Jaguars@Lions Didn’t like the blue shell when it came out last season. Still don’t. Uniform would look much better if the black carbon stripe didn’t invert in into the cheat. Should just line up evenly w blue stripe. Also giving off Temu Panthers vibe.
