It's impossible to overstate how much @EleanorNorton means to DC. From her roots in the civil rights movement and DC's struggle for local autonomy to her leadership on Capitol Hill and such wins as getting Statehood passed in the House, I will always be grateful for her service.

what landed for me was realizing jazz gives the listener the freedom to imagine. unlike most pop music, you gotta do a little work for yourself, but it's incredibly rewarding.
