Friends, never thought I’d say this, but maybe my new workplace is healing me 😭 constantly emotional on drives home from work, sometimes because it’s been a tough shift with losses, sometimes because there’s just so much love in this place - for our patients and for each other.
Students & junior docs get to experience kind, caring seniors and the grace & safety for our human-ness. Plus! Still working with students & interns means I’m still advocating for a rural comserve to every 2nd year intern PRN at application time 😂
It’s been a vv difficult few weeks, for ++ reasons. This morning on my way home, the sun was shining, and I saw 3 little girls laughing and playing in their now flooded backyard, but their pure joy sparked a small joy in me. I hope this image sparks a small joy in you too ☀️
