Also I quit tech and am moving into music. Hit me up if you want to collaborate or need music for a project.
@zachsilberberg It’s the tax write off. They’ve been doing it with tons of animated shows. If you mark it as a loss from a tax perspective it is illegal to continue making money from it and still be eligible for the write off. Wiping years of human creativity out to balance books. It’s sickening
I love semantic HTML. I love CSS and (thanks to Typescript) I really love working in JavaScript. It’s a ridiculously powerful set of tools and you can make some truly phenomenal things when you combine them. Always bums me out to see people only focusing on the JS part of the web
@JohnWizards the new track is UNREAL! I am on such a buzz. I've loved your first record since it came it. Thought I'd never hear new music from y'all again. What a treat. What a delight! Thanks for making such fantastic stuff.
People are trying to do this work. I loved this piece about Zero Freitas. This moment stuck with me.
'Freitas slumped, then covered his face with his hands and emitted a low, rumbling groan. “It’s very important to save this,” he said. “Very important.”'

This Cartoon Network shit is sickening. I am so furious to think that Discovery are just screwing over all of these creators, artists and fans so they can write off their debts. This video summarises what is happening really well, and it's fucked. https://t.co/r2JhSMQGyQ
It is up to fans of the art and culture to be the stewards and preservers of it. I guarantee you that there are communities like What[dot]cd who probably have good copies (maybe not as good as the original, but close) for things that burned up in this fire https://t.co/qdJ012FHBD
@noopkat This loop is literally what playing Celeste forced me to realize about myself; “I can’t do this level”, beat it after a few tries, get to next level, “yeah but there’s no way I can do this one”, beat it. Our brains are odd, but noticing the pattern helps break the loop ☺️🎉
