This is crazy case that happened in Aurora Colorado.

63 year old Tom Ruszkcowski was covering the swamp cooler. When he came down and went to the garage. 33 year old Kendan Lubovich started punching the victim in the back of head and kept punching him while he was on the ground.

Ruszkowski has staples in the top of his head and roughly 30 sutures in his face and forehead. He also had a tooth knocked out and suffered a shoulder injury.

Kendan currently has 3 felony cases pending agaisnt him. Also has multiple charges for assualt.

Is crazy but state of Colorado keeps releasing him free. Hopefully this time he will be locked up for long time.

This officer knew he screwed up and he took off quickly with his buddies.

This journalist approaches Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Deputy Wolf (#432) parked in an idle cruiser in Longview, Washington. The journalist approached the sitting vehicle to question the deputy and request his identification, Deputy Wolf exited his patrol unit, flashed a bright light directly into the camera, and tried to go into investigating mode looking for a crime. Immediately ordered him to remove his hands from his pockets.

This is where the problem did arise for Deputy Wolf as explicitly stated on camera that the journalist was not detained and was entirely free to leave. Under standard Fourth Amendment precedent, law enforcement cannot issue mandatory, enforceable commands during a voluntary conversation without reasonable, articulable suspicion of an actual crime. Thus his request to remove his hands from his pockets was quickly denied.

Rather than backing down, the journalist pushed back aggressively, reminding the deputy that public servants do not possess unilateral authority over free citizens. When Deputy Wolf closed the distance, the auditor issued a sharp warning, declaring that an aggressive approach without legal cause constituted an assault, stating point-blank: "Do it again and I will drop your ass... This is Washington, I have the right to defend myself."

You could see the look on the deputies face as his ego crumbled to the floor as he has never had anyone address him in this fashion before. The moment secondary units from the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office (including Deputy Kaplan) and the Longview Police Department arrived on scene, Deputy Wolf moved in and placed the journalist in handcuffs because he still had his hands in his pockets. This was despite journalist loudly voicing non-consent to any searches or seizures, a quick weapons pat-down was conducted over his outer clothing.

Finding nothing, Deputy Wolf uncuffed him almost immediately as they found nothing and he realized he screwed up, this was an illegal detainment and violation of his 4th amendment rights.

The walk of shame because almost a sprint as each one of the officers took off immediately from the scene of the crime they committed. The journalist was all over them the whole way calling them out for their actions.

FBI CONTACTS DENVER IN THE DARK / JEFFERSON COUNTY DISPATCH NEWS FOLLOWING REPORTED THREAT

DENVER, COLORADO — A reported threat intended to intimidate and silence an independent Colorado news operation has prompted contact from an individual identifying himself as a special agent with the FBI’s Denver field office.

On Monday, October 19, Denver in the Dark / Jefferson County Dispatch News received a voicemail from the individual, who identified himself as assigned to the FBI’s Guardian Squad.

The contact follows a threatening private message sent through Threads, demanding that the publication’s operator delete their social media account or face “significant harm.”

The message raises serious concerns about threats of violence being used to intimidate individuals engaged in independent journalism and public reporting.

POTENTIAL FEDERAL CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS

Under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c), transmitting a threat to injure another person through interstate or foreign commerce is a federal felony carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Federal law can apply to threatening private messages transmitted through social media platforms. A threat does not have to be made publicly to potentially constitute a federal offense.

The use of electronic communications to intimidate someone into abandoning a public platform raises significant legal concerns. Whether the conduct meets the requirements for federal prosecution depends on the evidence and applicable law.

This matter has been reported to federal authorities. The FBI contact represents a significant development, although the status and scope of any federal investigation have not been established publicly.

Denver in the Dark / Jefferson County Dispatch News takes threats against journalists and independent media operations seriously.

Polis Pushed Him Out. His Own Commission Brought Him Back. Then They Got Rid of Him Again.

In 2021, Christopher Gregory was chairing Colorado’s judicial discipline commission and leading the investigation into the Supreme Court’s $2.66M contract-for-silence scandal.

Gov. Jared Polis refused to reappoint him.

His fellow commissioners hired him right back as executive director to keep the work going.

Then the commission’s membership changed. Polis and the Supreme Court control those appointments.
In January 2024, the new commission removed him.

Since then:
→ A former chief justice was disciplined
→ A sitting justice resigned
→ The courts’ top lawyer quit
→ Gregory has filed suits and complaints naming the governor, the attorney general, and the chief justice
Sour grapes don’t take down a chief justice. Evidence does.

🚨Formation of Special Tribunal Demanded to Allow Fair Hearing of Gregory Allegations and Call for Justices to Resign🚨

Christopher S.P. Gregory served as member, Vice Chair, Chair, and Executive Director of the Colorado Commission on Judicial Discipline — the agency that investigates Colorado judges. He ran it.

On October 13 he filed a verified motion in Boulder County Court, Case 26C30734, signed under penalty of perjury, asking that every judge in the 20th Judicial District be disqualified and that the entire Colorado Supreme Court recuse itself so a special tribunal can be formed under the constitutional amendment 73% of Colorado voters passed in 2024.

What he swears to:
→ A 25-year pattern of the Justices using public resources to bury judicial misconduct, centered on a $2.66–2.75 million contract with the court system’s former chief of staff that he calls hush money.

→ Chief Judge Nancy W. Salomone recused her entire bench from some of his cases — then personally hand-picked the judges for the rest. Same facts, same filings. Colorado precedent since 1957 says a disqualified judge doesn’t get to choose his successor.

→ Judge J. Keith Collins recused from two cases and refused to recuse from the identically pled ones. His stated reason, in full, on the record: “I recuse.”

→ Attorney General Phil Weiser — a named defendant in Gregory’s federal suit, 1:25-cv-03361 — intervened in these protection order cases to get Gregory’s filings sealed. Senior Judge Steven J. Sletta granted it, then imposed $250 appeal bonds across four cases where there is almost no record to prepare.

→ Matthew Margeson, whose discipline file sits at the center of this, was appointed to the 7th Judicial District bench by Jared Polis on May 6, 2026. CCJD Executive Director Anne Mangiardi dismissed Gregory’s complaint about it — citing confidentiality.

Every name is a sitting Colorado judicial officer. Every claim is sworn testimony in an open case.
