Stop being scared. It's killing you.
If you were scared to swim, the only way to fix it was to swim.
If you were scared to ride a bike, the only way to fix it was to ride a bike.
Action eliminates fear. Always has.
Nobody teaches you this but you don't get rich by saving.
I've never made a budget in my life. Every time I needed more money I just focused on stacking skills that let me charge more.
Unpopular truth → Poor people budget, rich people earn.
@WillColeman31 I would say it’s because they see the opportunity in refinancing larger loans out of the private credit/direct lender debt they’ve taken on. They can charge a lower interest rate also that is still profitable for them so why wouldn’t they. They’re not doing this for LMM though.
Locked into 6 year direct lending paper priced in 2023? You’re stuck holding it while banks reprice the top of the market. Short duration means every maturity is a fresh repricing decision.
Banks didn’t leave the lower middle market because rates moved. They left because of capital requirements and centralized underwriting. That doesn’t reverse when a mega funds spreads compress.
@GrantCardone I had my first at 30 and wished I had one sooner. Everything is in the timing of the Most High though so if you had yours later that was the time for you to have them.
