I love an NGO with real-world, attainable objectives for us... The #SlowFood movement keeping it real with "1. Buy whole ingredients. Cook them. Eat them." No Excuses, right? #TryItTuesday https://t.co/CxUvsMUbL1
Chances are your MP voted against enshrining animal sentience into domestic law, but if you wanted to check up on them, and perhaps ask them why... https://t.co/9yreYXIwyn
Veterinary industry has changed so much; to satisfy client-demand & corporate drivers. A benefit of this commercialisation though is the many opportunities created for non-clinical professionals, and the great work they do to support our Vets & Nurses. https://t.co/MAO2cJEcOP …
Any time enthusiasm for my dissertation wanes this year, I’ll think back to this moment. Basking in the good fortune to have bagged a seat to hear from @bengoldacre at #LondonVetShow, thanks to #bvacongress
Lord Gardiner stating the case for a successful, sustainable, Brexit ensuring the free availability of medicines, workforce and welfare, and that the uk remains a magnet for talent and investment across all fields of science. #BVAcongress
@UCWBESI As a mature student it was vital that I didn’t have to put my career on hold; the flexibility afforded by #UCW means I’ve been able to develop my career and my skills simultaneously.
Thoroughly enlightening talk from @shellkryan at @VetShow ; particularly how gender-attributes influence ambition, and how sacrifices for careers are deemed worthy (or rather; not!)
Observing vet consults (not my Practice!) ...really interesting use of language. As a non-clinical-bod I’d have to strongly advise against using “say goodbye” at admit appointments - has all kinds of emotive connotations!
Back from @TheSEVC; possibly learnt more Spanish than management practice, but always good to have cause to reflect on what you’re clearly doing well! Estoy listo para LVS @VetShow!
