As our communities continue to grieve, a moment of honour unfolded overhead at the Barrie Airshow yesterday. In a powerful and moving act of remembrance, the @CFSnowbirds paid tribute with a flyover in honour of OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali and @TorontoPolice Service Emergency Task Force Constable Marc Pinizzotto.
We are deeply grateful for this meaningful gesture which offered reflection, unity and remembrance during an incredibly difficult time.

The bag of milk, the shoes at door… Whoever made this will win an award, probably a few. I’m sobbing, this is beautiful. This is who we are. We’ve welcomed the world for almost 140 years. We’re made for this moment. #CanMNT#FIFAWorldCup
@LilStampy4 We had amazing seats and was cool and windy but the sun came out. We too were shocked at the turnout to a great home opener! The CFL needs to up its game to draw more crowds. Hope the Grey Cup has a better turnout

On the anniversary of D-Day, we pause to honour those who served and sacrificed. We remember that our rights, our freedoms, and our way of life were fought for and were won by those who answered the call.

Best Darren Dutchyshen line of all time!
After Daniel Sedin and his wife had a baby. "I don't want to start any rumours, but he looks an awful lot like Henrik." (Daniel and Henrik are twins)
Darren John Dutchyshen (December 19, 1966 – May 15, 2024) was a Canadian sportscaster who spent seven years in Edmonton, hosting Sports Night on ITV, where I watched him first. On September 9, 2021, he announced that he had prostate cancer, and detailed it in full a year later in his first show back at SportsCentre.
Darren Dutchyshen died on May 15, 2024, at the age of 57 and is missed by all, and remembered here today. 💔
Matthew Schaefer had quite the surprise in store for him on @GMA today! 🏆
The Schaefer and Martin families were in attendance to present him with the Calder Memorial Trophy! #NHLAwards
