@larnz1111 Hi Lana, when I have patients who haven’t had preop bloods done we can get them done urgently in the morning, I would try get to your time an hour earlier so they can get that done.
@AshleyGWinter It’s routine part of preventative care in NZ for folks with risk factors, prev PET etc. from 12-36w + calcium supps, and now vitamin D. My clients generally get it all free with my care + pharmacies that do not charge a surcharge, meaning at risk pops can have reasonable access.
@MattyAngelNZ Hey Matty, we had to put Cashew down this year, but just yesterday the cat distribution system gave us Lucy. She’s really sweet and the right fit for us. I hope you get your new friend soon too. Sending love x
@danielneljack Rough calculation gives us $22 extra a week. Quickly absorbed by PT costs, prescription costs, increases rates and water. It won’t make a difference, and we have a buffer - can’t imagine how it will ease any pressure on lower income earners.
@LiddallTraci We unfortunately had our 12% absence around Easter because the boys got sick, both report low class numbers with illness (and I suspect, tiredness). It’s been a real drag this week.
@StrayDogNZ@dimsie lyou don’t get permission. We took our kids out last year for a holiday/family wedding - you let the school know and they mark it appropriately (I think unjustified) and we got a formal confirmation letter. He’s full of shit (and probably never did this part of the parenting)
I would hazard a guess that most of the business/business casual trousers that men wear to work these days are more comfortable than the uniforms schools insist children wear. And more seasonally appropriate.
