የፖለቲካ እስረኛዋ ጋዜጠኛ ገነት አስማማው በከፍተኛ ህመም ውስጥ መሆኗን የዓይን እማኞች ገለጹ።

ገነት አስማማው ባጋጠማት ህመም ምክንያት ዛሬ እና ትናንት ሊጠይቋት የሄዱ የቤተሰብ አባላትን አለማግኘቷን ምንጮች ገልጸዋል። የኩላሊት ህመም ያጋጠማት ገነት ምግብ እየተመገበች አለመሆኑም ነው የተገለጸው።

The Amharas will not continue to be on the menu; they will take their seat at the table!

In 1974 and again in 1991, Ethiopia’s homegrown Nazi OLF (and its aligned forces), fascist Weyyanes, and the ideological brethren of these pogromist forces sat at the table and made decisions that have unleashed unimaginable harm on the country and its people for the past fifty-plus years. That harm is still continuing, more than ever. In those moments, the Amhara were on the menu.

That is why we have been eaten and subjected to decades of industrial-scale destruction, mass atrocities, genocide, and ethnic cleansing. The same genocidal forces and their ideological heirs still expect the Amhara to remain in that position on the menu.

But the last fifty years, during which the Amhara were forced onto the menu, are over. That era has ended. This generation of Amhara will not accept being on the menu again, only to continue being eaten.

Now, when this generation of Amhara rises to redress past wrongs and claim its rightful seat at the table, those who benefited from keeping the Amhara on the menu for decades respond with smear campaigns and endless labels. It will not change anything. The Amhara have learned a painful lesson from being on the menu to be eaten, and they will not be on the menu any longer. The era of being eaten while on the menu is over, permanently.
